## Free vs Full Versions

The free (demo) versions are **fully functional** and identical to the paid versions in features and reconstruction quality. Limitations exist only so users can verify the software on their own computer before purchase:

- **Thumb*.db Viewer / Viewer Pro:** Free version displays only the **first 7 thumbnails** per database (Thumbs.db, thumbcache_*.db, iconcache_*.db) and from the pagefile; all thumbnails are still reconstructed internally.
